This is a exquisite show copy of Poems of Shelley Illustrated by Robert Anning Bell (1902), which was bound by famous bookbinder Cedric Chivers of Bath in the Art Nouveau style. It’s the Endymion Series by Bell Press. It is No 14 of 125 Copies on Japanese Vellum.
Cedric Chivers invented the ‘vellucent’ binding style which is demonstrated with this book. We have not seen another example of this book anywhere.
