Early 19th-century 4-volume partial lot from The Percy Anecdotes, Original and Select, published in London for J. Cumberland, 19 Ludgate Hill, 1826. These volumes come from the well-known 20-volume Percy Anecdotes series issued under the names Sholto and Reuben Percy.

Condition: Antique books with expected age wear, including rubbing to leather and boards, spine wear, leather loss, edge and corner wear, foxing, toning, and age-related staining. Vol. I has a detached front board and a weak rear board joint. Vol. XX is missing the front marbled endpaper, and the title/front title material is nearly detached. Sold as an antique partial set with condition issues, but with strong decorative, historical, and replacement-volume appeal.
