Description

Offered here is a handsome two-volume Victorian set of The Family Treasury of Sunday Reading, edited by Rev. Andrew Cameron, published by Thomas Nelson and Sons. These are uniformly bound in period leather spines with gilt titling and raised bands, with marbled boards-a great look on the shelf and a solid example of mid-19th-century family religious/literary reading.

Both volumes also carry the same embossed binder’s stamp: Waldie & Sons, Book Binders, 114 Fulton Street, New York (a nice period trade detail).
