A handsome Appleby School (Oakville, Ontario) prize binding in half polished calf over blue cloth, five raised bands with gilt-tooled compartments and a red morocco title label, marbled edges and endpapers, and the gilt Appleby crest to the front board. Portrait frontispiece present. Appleby printed prize bookplate completed in ink: “Prize for Languages, K. B. Alexander, Form IVA, June 1930.”
