Original two-sided leaf from Verve No. 5-6 (July-October 1939), the famed Paris art review directed by Tériade and printed by Draeger Frères. Recto features Rembrandt’s “The Jewish Bride” (detail); verso presents a Rembrandt portrait of a young woman in a feathered hat. Large-format photogravures on wove paper from the 1939 issue-not a later reprint-ready to mat and frame.
