Description
Overseas soldier’s airmail from the Pacific theater-U.S. Army Postal Service APO 920 (Biak area), Nov 18, 1944-on the 6¢ orange “Monoplane” airmail postal stationery (Scott UC4). It was shortpaid/overweight, assessed “POSTAGE DUE 6 CENTS,” and the carrier collected with a pair of 3¢ postage-due stamps neatly tied to the cover. A boxed “Passed by Army Examiner” censor marking completes the wartime usage.
