Description
Candid “walking picture” real-photo postcard showing a stylish woman mid-stride on a busy sidewalk, likely downtown USA. A storefront window behind her advertises “Donuts 27¢ a dozen,” anchoring the post-war moment. On the back, the original owner wrote: “Taken unaware in Aug 1947 while shopping,” noting it was the second time this happened (with a prior mention of Dec ’46). Paper is ANSCO with star stamp box; divided back, Made in U.S.A. Unmailed. Darkroom/order number 326044 at lower back.
