Description
Offered is an official Colonial Williamsburg commemorative proceedings volume documenting the presentation of the Williamsburg Award to Sir Winston S. Churchill at Drapers’ Hall, London (December 7, 1955). Published in Williamsburg, Virginia in 1957, this is a desirable piece of Churchill and Anglo-American historical ephemera, issued by the Trustees of Colonial Williamsburg.
This copy also includes the original Trustees of Colonial Williamsburg transmittal/presentation card (“The Trustees of Colonial Williamsburg take pleasure in sending you…”), a nice completeness factor that is not always found with surviving copies.
