Offered here is Divisare Books Issue 121 – “Salk Institute – Louis Kahn” photographed by Agnes Clotis. This early Divisare volume is a focused colour photo essay on one of the most important buildings of the twentieth century: Louis Kahn’s Salk Institute in La Jolla, California. Clotis’s photographs linger on the relationship between the austere concrete forms, the ocean horizon, and the famously symmetrical courtyard, making this a compact but substantial document of a canonical modernist work.
Issue 121 belongs to the first series of Divisare Books, produced in very small numbers and sold only via the Divisare online shop. Condition
Overall very good, with light shelf wear to the covers and spine consistent with careful handling.
