Description
Offered here is Divisare Books Issue 73 – “Farnsworth House – Mies van der Rohe” photographed by Turkish architect and architectural photographer Cemal Emden. Volume 73 presents a focused colour photo essay on Ludwig Mies van der Rohe’s iconic glass pavilion, the Farnsworth House in Plano, Illinois, capturing the house in its wooded riverside setting and emphasizing the relationship between the white, elevated structure and the surrounding landscape.
This early Divisare volume is part of Emden’s series on modern masters of architecture and was produced in a very small run. According to the publisher, only 100 copies were sold individually, with a further 100 copies reserved for the boxed set “CEMAL EMDEN – ARCHITECTURAL REPORTAGES 1,” for a total edition of just 200. Printed in Rome on fine recycled paper and sold exclusively through the Divisare online shop, the book is now marked Sold Out at the publisher and is seldom seen on the secondary market. For collectors of Mies van der Rohe, modernist houses, or contemporary architectural photography, this is a valuable and increasingly hard-to-find piece.

Condition
Overall very good, with light shelf wear to the covers and spine consistent with careful handling. Corners show only minor rubbing, the stapled binding remains tight, and the interior pages are clean and bright with no writing or underlining noted.
