Description
Offered here is “Rasmus Hjortshoj – Nordic Landscapes”, an early Divisare Books boxed set published in Rome in 2017. This handmade slipcased edition gathers five complete softcover volumes from Hjortshøj’s Nordic Territories project, a photographic exploration of man-made Nordic coastlines where landscape and human intervention are tightly entangled: the Danish West Coast, Copenhagen’s artificial shoreline, the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Norway’s Lofoten Islands.
Each book is an A5 colour essay, printed digitally on fine recycled paper and staple-bound. The series was produced in very small numbers: each issue was printed in an edition of 200 copies total, with 100 copies sold individually and 100 reserved for this box set, making the box itself an edition of only 100 complete sets worldwide. Sold exclusively through Divisare and now long out of print, titled “Nordic Landscapes” box sets are extremely scarce on the secondary market and highly sought after by collectors of architectural photography and contemporary Nordic design.
