Description
Offered here is a framed original Broadway Playbill from Superior Donuts (2009), inscribed on the reverse to Barry and Carole Kaye-prominent philanthropists and credited producers of the show. This unique piece of theatrical memorabilia includes a handwritten message:
Carole & Barry – Welcome to your new world! Very best – Cesar Fish…
While the signature appears to read “Cesar Fishman,” the handwriting is stylized and we cannot confirm the signer with certainty. It may have been a colleague or associate involved in the production or a personal friend of the Kayes.
The reverse side of the frame also bears a Triton Gallery / BroadwayPosters.com sticker, indicating that the framing was likely done or sold through New York’s leading source for Broadway poster art. Triton is known for handling original and archival-quality materials, which adds to the item’s provenance and display value.
