Offered here is the inaugural Number One issue of Tradition, dated January/February 1964, an early specialist publication devoted to military history, uniforms, miniature soldiers and wargaming.
This first issue is especially appealing for its strong Napoleonic content. The cover features His Grace the Duke of Wellington, while the interior combines detailed military-history articles with attractive color photography of painted military miniatures.

Condition is very presentable for a magazine now more than 60 years old, with attractive front-cover color and clean-looking interior material. There is expected light handling and edge wear associated with age, along with some age-related wear/soiling to the rear cover. The accompanying period papers show normal folds and handling from use.
