Estate jewelry with tag, NOS (new old stock), This is a stunning Coro Pegasus Crystal & Faux Oval Shaped Pearls Choker/Collar Vintage Necklace. It measures approximately 16″ at the longest, it is adjustable and has j hook closure. It is in good Vintage Condition, metal has faded a little from age near the ends.

The parure’s flying horse Pegasus mark, first used in 1938, identifies it as a Coro set produced from approximately 1945 to 1955. It is a favorite of collectors.
According to Jim Katz, the first instance of Coro necklaces using a J hook is July 15, 1948 as noted in patent record research.
