Description
This stunning, signed illustration by Ghazi Ahmed is taken from his 1996 book, “Pictures of the Ancient Uyghur Community”. It honors Yusup Has Hajip, the revered 11th-century Uyghur scholar and author of “Kutadgu Bilig”, a foundational work in Turkic literature. Signed (1998) and elegantly framed, this piece is a rare and meaningful tribute to Uyghur intellectual heritage-ideal for collectors of history and fine art.
