Description
Original late-1970s/early-1980s advertising presentation/display board for Alexander’s department store subway posters. The montage shows multiple in-situ photos from NYC stations (note the “Lexington & E 59 St” references to the flagship) and the “Subways.” brand line used by the New York Subways Advertising Co. The back has a small metal maker plate with an interlocking NY monogram-typical of agency/client pieces. This was created for internal use or client display, not as a retail poster, which is why survivors are scarce. Ready to hang in its period aluminum frame.

A great crossover piece for NYC transit history, department-store memorabilia, and advertising collectors.
