Description
A strong, small-format original lithograph from c.1942 by National Academician Edward A. Wilson. The image shows two workers wrestling a heavy object up a sweeping staircase-classic WWII-era, labor-themed subject matter that Wilson is admired for. Plate-signed “Wilson N.A.” in the image; later pencil notes in the margin (“Stairway 1942” and a name) and a small blue administrative “PLACED” stamp. Crisp impression with visible litho grain under magnification. Please view all photos.
