Description
An original 18th-century portrait engraving of Livio Mehus (1630-1691) from the celebrated Uffizi artists series (Museo/Museum Florentinum). The design was drawn by Giovanni Domenico Campiglia (del.) and engraved by Pietro Antonio Pazzi (sc.), with Mehus shown half-length holding a painter’s palette before an architectural backdrop. Classic Baroque portraiture with crisp linework and strong period presence.
