Description

A beautiful first-edition copy of Pino: Contemporary Realism, a substantial 128-page hardcover monograph celebrating the romantic figurative artwork of Italian-American painter and illustrator Pino Daeni.

Born Giuseppe Dangelico in Bari, Italy, Pino trained at the Art Institute of Bari and Milan’s Academy of Brera. He later became a highly successful American illustrator before concentrating on fine art. His luminous paintings of women, families, and intimate interiors remain admired for their expressive brushwork, graceful figures, and European influences.

Published by Classic Publications in 2002, this large-format volume presents richly colored reproductions, many occupying an entire page. Individual works are identified by title and original dimensions, making the book an attractive display piece and useful reference for collectors.
