Description
Original 1939 double-sided lithograph leaf from Verve Vol. II, Nos. 5-6, printed by Mourlot Frères (Paris) under Tériade. Recto features Georges Rouault, “Tête de femme (Head of a Woman)” in color; verso presents an André Derain charcoal portrait. Authentic period sheet removed from the binding-issued unsigned and signed in the stone as published. The sheet retains the inner (gutter) margin with minor feathering from separation, light perimeter toning typical of Verve, and small outer-edge touches; image fields are clean and present strongly. Ships flat in archival materials.
